Frequently asked questions
The things families ask us most.
Can't find your answer here? Just give us a call or send a message. We're happy to help.
How many dogs can you care for daily?
We're licensed to care for up to 35 dogs per day. Currently, we average around 20 dogs daily.
Will your dog go off-site for walks?
No, all dogs stay on site for safety. That doesn't mean your dog sits around twiddling their thumbs, though. They'll get plenty of play, exercise and mental stimulation, plus regular downtime throughout the day.
When are your business hours?
Our business hours are 8:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. You can drop off and pick up your dog anytime during these hours.
Can you feed our dogs while they are with you?
Yes. If your dog needs breakfast, lunch or dinner, you're welcome to bring their food in a tub or bag and we'll feed it at the time you ask for. Our treats are grain-free and don't contain chicken or beef.
How do you keep dogs comfy in hot, cold, or wet weather?
Your dog stays comfortable whatever the weather. In hot weather, there's air conditioning, water play and cooling mats. In colder months, we use heating and extra blankets. If it rains, we have coats on hand, or you're welcome to send one in.
Does my dog need a daycare visit before boarding?
Yes, your dog needs to attend daycare before boarding. It helps them get used to the routine and feel more settled with us. Once they're comfortable, boarding becomes a much smoother experience for everyone.
Does my dog have to be child friendly?
All dogs that come through daycare must be child-friendly. This is a family business, after all, so our children and staff's children come during the school holidays. If boarding is required, dogs also need to be child-friendly.
How do you keep bigger and smaller dogs safe together?
Most dogs mix happily together, and we'll always check that during your Meet & Greet. If we ever need to separate dogs, we can use our two dog rooms and internal fencing to keep things calm and safe.
How do I book a Meet & Greet?
Head to our Contact page and use the "New here?" option to send us a message with your dog's details and preferred dates.
