About us
Animals have always been my passion.
My lovely family includes my husband, our two energetic boys, our playful Malinois X named Meka and our crazy French Bulldog X Collie, Zuma.
Meka is our adventurous rescue from RATs. At just four years old, she's full of energy and loves to play. She enjoys daycare and has made lots of friends, and we're working hard on her training to help her trust people, especially men.
We have also recently adopted another crazy pooch, Zuma. He's a fantastic little French Bulldog X Collie, has a huge personality, loves all the dogs here at daycare and has made many friends.
We live in a lovely village in a semi-detached house with a spacious garden, providing plenty of room for our fun-loving family.

Experience & qualifications
Years of hands-on animal care
I used to run our family business, which included quarantine kennels and a cattery. With years of experience in animal care, from working in kennels and shelters to being a zookeeper, I also hold an Animal Science degree, a grooming course, and first aid training for animals.
We love hiring some great dog fields in the local area with our boarders, to go and have some fun and a good runaround, whilst knowing all are safe and very happy.
My passion for dogs is at the heart of everything I do in my business. I love caring for them, understanding their individual personalities, and creating a safe, happy and loving environment where they can feel at home.

Nicki
Nicki has been a vital part of Family Pet Care since we opened our doors, and even worked with me before we expanded. She has built amazing connections with all dogs and clients who visit us. Working with dogs has always been her true passion, and she found the perfect place to pursue that here at Family Pet Care. Over the years, Nicki has lovingly owned dogs of her own and treats every pup that comes through our doors as if they are hers. Not only is she Canine First Aid-trained, she's also currently taking an Animal Management course focused on dogs with anxiety. Nicki is truly one of the hardest-working people I know, and her incredible personality, filled with love and laughter, keeps the FPC team thriving.
Lucy
Lucy has been an integral part of our team since the very first day, and her deep love for dogs is remarkable. She is the proud owner of three delightful Dachshunds, who occasionally brighten our daycare with their playful spirits. Lucy's nurturing attitude towards all the dogs in our care showcases her exceptional skills and dedication to their well-being. She is trained in canine first aid, ensuring she is always prepared to provide the best possible care. We genuinely cherish Lucy, and have no doubt that anyone who has the pleasure of meeting her would feel the same warmth and admiration.
Lucas
Lucas has been with us since the very beginning and hasn't looked back. After school, he would come in to spend time with all the dogs, and his love for them is simply infectious. Now that he's finished school, I'm thrilled to have him on board part-time. Just like his amazing mum, Nicki, Lucas works tirelessly and showers every dog that walks through our doors with affection. They absolutely adore Lucas, and we truly can't imagine our daycare without him.
